Royal Bank of Canada Bahamas Ltd. Head quarter’s renovation (Completed 2021)

The clients wanted to modernize their main Bahamas headquarters on both the interior and exterior in Downtown, Nassau, Bahamas. The 4-story building originally completed in the early 1980s also needed some structural upgrades and enhancements caused by years of water intrusion caused by the degradation of old waterproofing systems. Mr. Wilchcombe worked with both structural specialists and waterproofing experts to make all the enhancements necessary and bring the building into a new era. He also designed a new modern exterior and changed the original exterior windows on all the floors to new Low-E high energy efficient windows which will save RBC lots of money on their electrical and cooling costs. Mr. Wilchcombe also worked with their international interior design partners to co-ordinate new office layouts and furniture installation throughout for almost 200 staff members.
